Sergio Andres Perez grew up in Corpus Christi and graduated from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi with a Bachelor of Arts degree. While working his way through school, Sergio engaged in several rewarding extracurricular activities including participating in mentor programs for at-risk youths, local food drives, and an internship with the 319th District Court of Texas, where he also assisted with political campaigns in an effort to make a difference in the community.

Sergio has also won awards for published works in CorpusBeat magazine. As a writer and historical researcher for the award winning publication, he developed a passion for media and public relations. During this time he was also a member of various organizations dedicated to a better Corpus Christi such as: The League of United Latin American Citizens, Corpus Christi Caller Times Advisory Committees, and Workforce-1.

“Failing to prepare is preparing to fail,” says Sergio, who enjoys running marathons. “In races, you have to be prepared to take a pounding mentally and physically and it’s the same in life. You have to be ready for whatever comes your way to come out on top. Success never rewards the wrong people, and at McLeod Creative, I’m confident that we can prove that.”
